Fuel your ears with ear boosting foods.
Fuel your ears with the foods you eat. Certain nutrients and hearing are closely connected. Eating the right nutrients goes a long way to maintaining healthy ears & hearing.
The foods you eat daily affect ear function, ear health and fuels your ears to maintain good hearing. Ultimately, this impacts your communication with others. So why not start by choosing one of these food items and adding it to your diet?
While nothing is a miracle cure, eating nutrient dense foods benefits your ears, as well as your body, and can help keep your ears healthy. Think of it as another way to preserve your hearing.
Fuel your ears and add ear boosting foods that contain these nutrients: magnesium, potassium, folate and zinc.
Magnesium: Helps guard against hearing loss (especially noise-induced)
Potassium: Helps regulate the fluid in the body. A drop in the levels of fluid in the inner ear can contribute to hearing loss, but getting enough potassium can help regulate this fluid.
Folate: Proper circulation helps keep the inner ear’s hair cells healthy and getting enough folate in your diet can help prevent hearing loss.
Zinc: Eating enough zinc has been linked to a lowered chance of developing tinnitus and presbycusis (hearing loss with age).
